Fees

CASA believes it is important that student leaders and their constituents alike can easily understand membership fees. Thus, CASA has an easy to understand formula to calculate membership fees set out in our Operational Procedures. Student numbers are calculated using the PSIS Data collected by Statistics Canada.

A full member’s fees for the 2023-2024 fiscal year are calculated using the following formula:

Number of students

Cost per full-time equivalent (FTE) student

1 to 6,000

$3.91

6,001  to 12,000

$3.60

12,001 to  20,000

$3.33

20,001 and above

$2.97

Membership fees shall be subject to a maximum of $63,582 and a minimum of $6,170 per fiscal year, subject to slight annual adjustments for inflation.
